Transferring gas between canisters before a trip. It's now approaching two years since I wrote about this and I still have many almost empty canisters. I need to do more! And recycle more empty ones.
These days I tend to buy a large cannister and use it to fill a small one for two or three night trips. I called in to the White Laggan bothy in Galloway a few weeks ago and there was a box full of part used cannisters. If I had been going back the same way I would have filled my pack with them!
